Published: October 2, 2014

YOUNGSTOWN––Two Youngstown Municipal Court supervisors are among 39 Ohio Trial Court professionals to graduate this month from the National Center for State Courts’ Court Management Program.

Angela Frederick and David Thompson were awarded National Certified Court Manager credentials during a program at the Supreme Court of Ohio’s Thomas J. Moyer Ohio Judicial Center. This is the 7th class of Ohio students to graduate from the national program – the only one of its kind in the United States. The program requires a 3-year commitment by mid-level court managers to further professional development.

Ms. Frederick and Mr. Thompson are Youngstown city residents. Ms. Frederick serves as the Assignment Commissioner, and Mr. Thompson is the Court’s Chief of Probation. The Court’s Administrator, George Denney, is also a graduate of the program.

Administrative/Presiding Judge Robert P. Milich said Youngstown Municipal Court promotes educational development for staff through the Supreme Court’s Ohio Judicial College and national Court Management Program to better serve the Youngstown community.
