By virtue of an Order of Sale No. CV2018 09 3954 to me directed from the Court of Common Pleas, of Summit County, Ohio, I, STEVE M. BARRY, Sheriff of said County, will offer for sale at Public Venue, at the West door of the Court House, in Akron, on

 

FRIDAY, THE 7TH DAY

OF JUNE, A.D., 2019

 

at 10:00 o'clock A. M. of said day, the following described Lands and Tenements, to-wit:

Situated in the City of Norton, formerly Township of Norton, County of Summit and State of Ohio:

And known as being part of Lot 81 of township and described as follows:

Beginning at a point on the North line of said Lot 81, which is West a distance of 625.00 feet from the intersection of said line with the centerline of Mamie Street as recorded in the Barberton Land Company Allotment in Book 44, Page 176 of Summit County Record of Plats; thence West 100.00 feet; thence South 240.00 feet; thence East 100 feet; thence North 240.00 feet to the place of beginning, containing 0.551 acre, be the same more or less, but subject to all legal highways. Reserving 25.00 feet off the South end of the above described lot a private driveway for this and other lots of the lands of the Barberton Land Company.

Property appraised at: Ninety-nine Thousand Dollars ($99,000.00). Property cannot be sold for less than 2/3 of the appraised value.

TERMS OF SALE: $5,000.00 deposit in cash, certified check or bank check payable to the Sheriff of Summit County, Ohio, to be tendered at sale at the time of acceptance of the bid. The purchaser shall be required to pay interest at the rate of ten percent (10%) on the unpaid balance of the bid amount, unless paid within eight (8) days after the date of sale. The entire balance of the purchase price shall be paid within 30 days after the filing of the Confirmation Entry.

AND if this sale results in a NO BID/NO SALE and remains unsold after this first sale, then this property shall be offered again at a second sale and shall be sold to the highest bidder without regard to the minimum bid requirement in section 2329.20, at 10:00 a.m. and at the same place on the 21st day of June, 2019. (ORC 2329.52(B), ORC 2329.26 (2)(a)(v))

The purchaser shall be responsible for those costs, allowances and taxes that the proceeds of the sale are insufficient to cover. (ORC 2329.52(B))
