By virtue of an Order of Sale No. CV2017 05 1784 to me directed from the Court of Common Pleas, of Summit County, Ohio, I, STEVE M. BARRY, Sheriff of said County, will offer for sale at Public Venue, at the West door of the Court House, in Akron, on

at 10:00 o'clock A. M. of said day, the following described Lands and Tenements, to-wit:


The following described piece or parcel of land, situated in the City of Norton, County of Summit and State of Ohio:

And known as being in Lot No. 56, former Norton Township, Summit County, Ohio and beginning at a monument at the intersection of the center line of the Loyal Oak, now known as Cleveland Massillon Road, and the Norton Center Roads, in the town of Norton Center; thence in the center of the Norton Center Road, North 89 degrees 51' East, 554 feet to a point in the center line of a new street, which point is the beginning point of the premises herein conveyed; thence South 0 degrees 01' West, 180.37 feet in the center line of said new street; thence South 89 degrees 59' East, 125 feet; thence North 0 degrees 01' East, 180.73 feet to a point in the center line of the Norton Center Road; thence South 89 degrees 51' West, 125 feet to the place of beginning and containing .518 acres of land, reserving however for street purposes a strip of land 30 feet in width from the North side and a strip 25 feet in width from the West side.

Property located at: 1284 Norton Avenue, Barberton, OH 44203.

Property appraised at: Seventy-eight Thousand Dollars ($78,000.00). Property cannot be sold for less than 2/3 of the appraised value.

TERMS OF SALE: $5,000.00 deposit in cash, certified check or bank check payable to the Sheriff of Summit County, Ohio, to be tendered at sale at the time of acceptance of the bid. The purchaser shall be required to pay interest at the rate of ten percent (10%) on the unpaid balance of the bid amount, unless paid within eight (8) days after the date of sale. The entire balance of the purchase price shall be paid within 30 days after the filing of the Confirmation Entry.

AND if this sale results in a NO BID/NO SALE and remains unsold after this first sale, then this property shall be offered again at a second sale and shall be sold to the highest bidder without regard to the minimum bid requirement in section 2329.20, at 10:00 a.m. and at the same place on the 2nd day of February, 2018. (ORC 2329.52(B), ORC 2329.26 (2)(a)(v))

The purchaser shall be responsible for those costs, allowances and taxes that the proceeds of the sale are insufficient to cover. (ORC 2329.52(B))

The Sheriff's Office nor any of its affiliates have access to the inside of said property, at any time. (This includes appraisals for bank loans.)
